Diesel Generating Station
The Fort Severn Diesel Generating Station (DGS) has 3 Generators ranging from 455-1000 kW providing electrical power and distribution for the over 540 (2022) on-reserve residents of the remote, fly-in, Cree speaking community located in Northern Ontario on the shores of Hudson Bay.
Solar Project

The 253-kilowatt solar power project was officially connected to Fort Severn First Nation's micro-grid on October 21, 2021 and is reducing the amount of diesel needed to power the community.
